About

I am an illustrator and printmaker specialising in screenprinting, living and working in Nottingham, UK. I also work as a lecturer and tutor at university across the UK. 

I was born in Saitama, Japan in 1984 alongside my twin sister. I have been based in Nottingham since 2004. It has been a long and winding journey to bring my practice to the forefront of my life. Life is always complex, but I try to bring in happiness through colours, humour and soft shapes.
